Web / Database Developer

Discogs is seeking a web/database developer to join our team, to work on user-facing features and tools for managing the back-end systems.

Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent
• At least five years experience working with dynamic database-backed websites
• Strong experience with Python and Object Oriented software design
• Strong experience with MySQL
• Experience using the MVC pattern in web systems
• HTML, Javascript/Ajax, REST, XML, RSS, HTTP protocol, Subversion, Linux
• Able to work in a rapidly changing environment

Location: The candidate must be based in the US, preferably in the Portland, OR area.
