Once you listen to this album all the way through, you will find there is no need for so many "Essential.." and "Best Of..." Ambient/Chillout compilations, especially with CD1. Everything 'essential' is included in the first disc. From start to finish, this CD certainly is gold, and not just a speck!

The first disc includes some really beautiful and relaxing songs. I really like "Clear Blue Sky" for it's chilled and sunsetty feel. It's one of my favourite songs on the album. The other is "Ozo". This has a very sexy Latin vibe which I think would attract most listeners to this album. CD1 is then finished of with a spectacular remix which puts the track into a relaxing acoustic Latin mode.

The second disc continues the relaxing vibe with bonus remixes of CD1 tracks as well as the brilliant Christophe Goze remix of "Take Me Inside". And at the end of CD2, the mood is brought into a slightly more progressive and clubby atmosphere with some Deep House remixes from Roger Sanchez and James Bright.

A truly great album for fans of Downtempo, Lounge, Ambient and Chillout. And for anyone who's never heard Afterlife before, get this album first. I sure am glad I did!
