User Reviews:

scoundrel, Mar 24, 2004

A great album by Block 16 deserves great remix treatment, and that’s exactly what you get with Morning Sun Remixed -- nine more tracks of bliss. Each remixer adds their unique stamp to the originals: hence, Fug goes dreamy downtempo on “Find an Oasis” and Brennan Green and Daniel Wang go 80s electro on, not surprisingly, “Electokution.” The house remixes keep the smooth, easygoing production that made Morning Sun so great. Rollercone and Pepe Bradock, as usual, deliver outstanding material, and Charlie Dark of Attica Blues gives a broken beat workout to “Morning Sun.” Beautiful.
